CURRENT PARAGUAY WORK
_____
Paraguay is home to our largest and most sustainable agricultural project to date. In the early 2000’s, Agrimissions purchased 10 hectares of land near the community of Yrybucua, in central Paraguay, to construct a small farm resource center. The purpose of the center was to introduce new crops and farming practices to help improve the health of the local indigenous peoples. The Center consists of a multipurpose building with two dormitories, a combined meeting-dining room, and support facilities as well as numerous research plots. Additionally, a residence was constructed to house on the property for a future missionary or Center director.

Since construction, the facility has served as the planned resource center as well as a community center by the locals. The Paraguay Department of Agriculture has utilized the center for educational classes and research plots for their agricultural specialist. The facility has also hosted numerous non-agricultural groups including youth retreats, pastor summits, Bible studies and short-term U.S. medical mission teams.
In the last few years with the Covid virus and travel limitations, Agrimissions has decided to good deeper instead of wider with our international program. The Board is concentrating its outreach and funding efforts on the Agriculture Center in Paraguay. We are currently seeking a full or part-time missionary to reside and oversee operations at the Center. The missionary will work closely with TMS-Global missionaries Christian & Angelica Dickson and be under the direction of the Agrimissions Board. If interested, see needs tab.
